As a Derbyshire wedding photographer, I’ve seen lots of stunning venues across the region, but this one really stands out. I was recently invited to visit, and it instantly felt like something special. With themed bedrooms inspired by Hollywood icons, breathtaking views, and space for a whole weekend of celebration, Hollywood House offers an unforgettable experience.

Not Just a Wedding Day – A Wedding Stay

What makes Hollywood House so unique is that it’s built around the idea of a wedding stay – not just a wedding day. Up to 40 guests can stay overnight, which means you get the chance to slow down, celebrate over a few days, and really savour every moment with the people who matter most.

From Friday night drinks to a Saturday ceremony, and a relaxed Sunday brunch – this venue was made for couples who want more than just a whirlwind day.

And if you’re planning a bigger celebration, you’re in luck – on the wedding day itself, up to 140 guests can join you to party in style. So whether you’re keeping it small or going all out, Hollywood House has the flexibility to make your vision a reality.

A Venue Full of Character and Cinematic Charm

I am very much looking forward to working here as your Hollywood House wedding photographer, it’s an absolute dream to work here. Every corner of the venue is packed with personality. The 16 themed bedrooms pay tribute to stars like Judy Garland, Audrey Hepburn, James Dean, and my personal favourite – James Bond. Each room is designed with stunning detail, making it perfect for fun, editorial-style wedding portraits.

Beyond the bedrooms, there’s a gorgeous function space, an elegant bar, beautifully styled living areas, and even a hot tub terrace. Outside, the panoramic views over the Peak District are perfect for golden hour photos and drone shots (which I’ll be popping back for very soon!).
